 Hi, I am Drew Williams -- owner, operator and cleaner at Clean A Hat!
I have worked with hats and caps since I was a child growing up in my grandfather's western store (Frontier Ranch Supply). Western hats
gave me a solid foundation for working with all headwear. In 2001, I went to work for Mr. Alvin Lansky (one of the original clothiers to Elvis Presley) at Mister Hats in Memphis, TN. I brought what I knew about cleaning
& blocking western hats and started a cleaning service within the hat shop.
It was there I learned much of what I know today as far as the many different styles of headwear (Driving Caps,
Fedoras, Porkpies, Homburgs, and more). Through a series of trial and error, I developed the methods to properly clean all types of
hats & caps in many different materials while unintentionally adding purses and Jackets into the
mix, thanks to my wonderful customers.
I started Clean A Hat with a passion to run a good
